20 Plume Moth

Very attractive and distinctive micro.

which flies in every month of the year.

Angle Shades

Caterpillar found in leaf litter this afternoon.
Apparently the caterpillars feed at night and sleep during the day though in the
current climate ......
The moth has 2 generations but the caterpillar is (allegedly) found in every month.

Red Admiral

1 at St Ishmaels on Friday 22nd October.

Butterflies

Still a few managing to hang on despite the rain!
Comma on bramble in garden along with a nice looking Speckled Wood.
A few (Large) Whites still around the village also.

micros

Some micros are very smart.

This one is Eudonia Angustea which sounds posh - aka Narrow Winged Grey.
